MAC Club eyeshadow is all sorts of awesome: a duochrome FOTD

When you have about 2 minutes to get out the door in the morning and only one clean brush left- MAC Club eyeshadow is your white knight.

It is an beautiful green/brown duochrome which when blended into the crease will actually look like you’ve used a separate satin warm brown eyeshadow in that area. Can you see why it makes a daytime smokey eye child’s play?

I find that for the green shimmer to pop it is best to use a black or green base. This morning I popped some MAC Delft paintpot (shimmery teal) on the lid and then on top of that I blended Club out to the crease.

Eyes:
-MAC Delft paintpot in a sheer layer on lid
-MAC Club eyeshadow concentrated on lid and blended into crease. some of this is also used to line bottom lash line.
-UD zero 24/7 liner

Cheeks:
-MAC fleur power blush

Lips:
- NARS Supervixen lipgloss

We all drank much more than would be considered ladylike at lunch so I have retired to my hotel room to nurse the start of a headache.

Sweet as a peach (on the beach): BECCA Beach Tint in Peach Swatch

For our work christmas party, my boss has paid for all of us to go for a weekend in Manly, including two nights at a hotel, surfing lessons, and massages- how nice is that?

We’re all leaving tomorrow morning so I’m doing some last minute packing. I’m taking a big bottle of my favourite sunscreen ‘Invisible Zinc’, and some waterproof beauty items that I can wear. I don’t wear a lot of makeup to the beach but I like a little bit of colour on my face so I don’t look like the undead.

I will probably just use a small amount waterproof brown eyeshadow like my Laura Mercier satinee creme eye colour in rum satin to fill in brows (I feel very naked without my brows filled) and my new BECCA Beach Tint.
