I’ve never worried about powders until I started blogging. Seeing my own face on my computer screen in HD in my FOTD posts has made me a little bit paranoid about all the imperfections that I’ve never noticed before. Like how shiny my forehead was.
So I found my very first translucent loose powder!
I chose this because I really had no idea about loose powders, and it was Christine from Temptalia’s favourite setting powder. (I go to her blog for most of my makeup decisions lol).
After a few weeks of use I’m well and truly converted. It controls the shinies on my T zone without looking cakey, makes me makeup last longer, and minimizes the look of pores.
It is a semi-matte finish and still allows a little of the ‘glowiness’ of my NARS Sheer Glow to peek through.
I like to dip my large powder brush (not my kabuki LOL) into the product, swirl it around the inside of the cap to distribute it evenly on the brush, and tap off the excess so ensure I don’t overapply. Then I lightly dust it on my T zone and the area around my nose.
?I got mine from StrawberryNet.com for $22.50 for the mini jar (9.3g/0.33oz)
Ingredients: Talc, Magnesium Myristate, Nylon-12, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Lauroyl Lysine, Methicone, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Ultramarines (Cl 77007), Iron Oxides (Cl 77491, Cl 77492, Cl 77499).
What powders have you tried? Likes/Dislikes? Enlighten me fellow beauty addicts!

It’s not often someone can find quality in writing. There is so much junk on the web these days. People seem to put stuff up just to put it up and they don’t care about quality. I appreciate your taking the time to do it right!
You may have not intended to do so, but I think you have managed to express the state of mind that a lot of people are in. The sense of wanting to help, but not knowing how or where, is something a lot of us are going through.
