Youngblood Guava Lipgloss review and swatches

After being introduced to Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics brand a month back (read my review of their blush and lip gloss here) , I became quite curious about the brand and did a bit of hunting around the internetz for reviews and swatches of their products. It became apparent that Youngblood Guava lipgloss was one of their cult products and one that I needed immediately.

Colour

Guava is a gorgeous semi-sheer watermelon red with no shimmer. In the tube it appears to be an orangey red, but I found it is a little more blue based when applied on my lips. The colour is incredibly flattering and really brightens up my face.

It has a high shine finish which makes lips look plump and luscious.

Texture

This lipgloss feels lovely on the lips, hydrating and non sticky. It has a little bit of thickness, just enough to help with staying power.

Performance

Youngblood glosses have a wear time of about 1.5hr which is about average for a gloss on me.

Overall a really lovely gloss. I can see Guava being a staple in my makeup bag in Spring and Summer.
