Sleek Oh So Special Palette

When I went on the Sleek website to finally pick up the famous Storm palette, I saw the prices of their palettes and did a double take. How can it be that the entire palette is HALF the price of MAC eyeshadow in Australia?

So of course I had to pick up two more Sleek palettes than originally intended- so I got Storm (reviewed here), Oh So Special, and Sunset palettes and was on my merry way.

Oh So Special palette includes 5 shimmery and 7 matte shades with a good range of colours that can take you from pretty in pink to sultry temptress.

The ‘pretty in pink’ colours are mostly on the left side of the palette. The shadows are reasonably smooth, but the shadows here are on the sheerer side and will require at least 2 layers on the eye to show up well.

The colours on the right side of the palette is, in my opinion, where the action is. The intensity and silky smoothness of the shadows here are pretty damn impressive. And the amazing matte black that we saw in the Storm palette makes another appearance!

Eyes:

– UDPP

– Matte brown (4th from left on bottom row) in crease

– Shimmery peach pink (3rd from left top row) on inner half extended to inner corner and tear duct area. I’ve used a tiny bit of Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy underneath on this part of the eye to up the intensity a little.

– ┬áBlackened purple shimmer shadow (last shadow on top row) in outer V and under bottom lashline.

– MAC Blacktrack Fluidline on waterline and upper lashline.

As for the rest of my face, I foolishly forgot to type in the details and I did this FOTD over a week ago!

I *think* I used MAC Blushbaby blush on my cheeks and Chantecaille Zinnia Lip Chic on my lips.
