Lord and Berry says..
Inkglam is the perfect product for lining and defining the eyes with either bold or fine lines with a shiny, ‘patent leather’ finish. Inkglam is quick-drying, long-wearing, smudge-resistant, and waterproof, yet can easily be removed.
price: $22.00 from Lehved, £9.50 from ASOS.com (UK)
availability: Lehved.com.au, Beautybay.com, ASOS.com
I’ve been looking for a shiny patent leather finish jet black liner for a very long time. Something that seems so simple was actually really difficult to find- black liners that looked shiny in swatches would dry down to a matte black when I tried them in person and I must have tried over 30 different liners over that period.
When I paid a visit to the Lehved showroom near Central (to acquire more OCC Lip Tars), the owner told me that she had brought in the entire Lord and Berry collection just for their amazing patent leather finish black liquid liner!
The rest, as they say, is history.
It’s the blackest black, and shiny. It has fantastic lasting power and is completely water proof and smudge proof once it sets. I find that removing Inkglam at the end of the day can be quite tricky, and will usually need to double cleanse to move the product.
Quite recently (more than a month after I purchased the Inkglam) I’ve discovered another shiny black liner in the form of MAC Superslick Liner in On The Hunt. Isn’t that just the way? It will probably rain shiny black liquid liners tomorrow. I do find that Inkglam is shinier and blacker than the MAC Superslick liner though so it’s still a favourite.
