Hellooooo!

My Funny Valentine HQ has now relocated to inner city Melbourne. I’ve been looking forward to this move for a long time and I’m absolutely smitten with the area I’m living in. I know I’ve been AWOL for awhile recently but I promise I am back with some exciting posts and FOTDs and (hopefully) some youtube vids. This particular review I had drafted over a month ago.

Burberry Lip Mist Copper no. 202

After getting my hands on Burberry Lip Mist in Blueberry and falling in love with the formula and luxe packaging, I knew I had to try other colours in the Lip Mist range- mounting credit card debt be damned. Akisa from Beauty Swatch suggested that I try the lip mist in ‘Copper’ no. 202.

Burberry Lip Mist in Copper is a medium peachy nude with a gorgeous glossy finish and sheer to medium pigmentation. I have a weakness for peachy nudes- they remind me of carefree flower children in the 70s and Bridget Bardot. I’ve learnt early on that with my skin tone I can’t really pull off most cool nudes and pale pinks (they usually make me look like a hooker).

Just like Blueberry, Copper has a beautifully moisturising ‘glaze’ type feel on the lips, and disguises chapped lips very well. Wear time is similar to other lipstick/gloss hybrids on me- around the 1hr mark.

It’s definitely a splurge buy but I like to think of this as an investment since it’s something I will wear again and again with a variety of different looks- and the value of a beautiful nude cannot be overstated.

This FOTD photo was taken about a month ago when I was still living in NSW, so unfortunately I can’t remember what makeup products I was wearing here but I do know that I was wearing the Revlon Beyond Natural lashes (review coming soon).
