What’s In My Travel Makeup Bag: Northern Territory Australia

In less than 30minutes I’ll be on my way to Katherine in the Northern Territory (the top end of Australia) to work in remote clinics with the ICEE Aboriginal Vision Care program with a good friend of mine. We’ll also have 5 days to explore the Katherine, Darwin, and Kakadu regions so it’s going to be an absolutely AMAZING trip.

Here is a peek into what I’ve packed in my toiletries bag for the trip.

When I packed my makeup bag I tried to pack products that allowed me to:

– pack the minimal number of makeup brushes (so I included pencils and cream products where possible)

– do complete day time work looks and night time looks if we go out somewhere nice.

– have long wearing, hard working makeup that is water resistant if necessary

BECCA Eye Tint in Pewter (review and swatch here)

Essential neutral eyeshadows: MAC, Inglot

NARS Dogon Duo (review, swatch, FOTD here)

Majorca Majolica Lash Expander Plus mascara

Eyecurl II heated lash curler (review here)

MAC Stud Eyebrow Pencil

NARS Pure Matte lipstick in Moscow (review coming soon!)

BECCA Beach Tint in Peach (lip and cheek tint)

Estee Lauder Sensuous Rose Blush (review and swatch here)

MAC Studiosculpt Concealor NW20

Invisible Zinc UV Silk Shield

Invisible Zinc UV Silk Shield (reviewed here):

I consider this to be a face foundation with some SPF, will be worn above a sunscreen during the day

Devita SPF 30+

A lovely light face sunscreen that I will wear around town during the working week. I’ll wear it underneath the IZ UV Silk Shield foundation stick.

Invisible Zinc Waterproof 4Hr SPF 30+ (reviewed here) :

I’m planning to use this for when I go sightseeing and swimming in the various waterfalls and hot springs since it’s incredibly water resistant and hardworking.
