L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Le Vernis Autumn Collection: Review and Swatches

IMG_7115

If you haven’t noticed, Autumn (or Fall, if you’re not from around these parts)  colours are my thing. I wear them all year round and I suspect they suit my skin tone better than than Summer or Spring tones- so when I saw these mini bottles of Autumn goodness land on my desk a couple of weeks back, I couldn’t wait to get them on my fingers.

Colours:

L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Le Vernis Autumn Collection includes 5 Fall shades:

Creamy Angora- creamy peach pink beige.

Paris Avenues- dusty sky blue

So Chic Fox- sienna brown

Soft Chinchilla- classic greige

Rose Cashmere- dusty cool rose pink

My favourite out of the lot is Soft Chinchilla, because I’m a square. I can see So Chic Fox being HOT on the runways (mahogany seems to be the colour du jour), but personally I don’t think I can pull off a brown nail polish.

Formula:

The formula of the Colour Riche Le Vernis is supposed to be nail colour and top coat in one. On my nails, it performed quite well in terms of wear time and resistance to chipping; however I prefer the extra shiny finish of an additional top coat.

note: please excuse my shitty nail polish application. Can you understand why I’m not a nail blogger?
