L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival took place a couple of weeks ago, and I fortunately enough to get a preview of the products that makeup artist extraordinaire Rae Morris created for the runway shows. I won’t have the time to cover all the makeup that I had received- I am only going to concentrate on the products that really stood out for me.
These Color Riche lipsticks were used on the runways (you can find images of the runway look on the L’Oreal Paris Ausralia facebook page) and having never tried these before, I was quite impressed with the product texture and performance . My favourites are Intense Fuschia, Plum Passion, and Nude.

Color Riche Made For Me Intense:
Intense Fuschia: Satin finish pink fuschia with full coverage in 2 layers. Love the creamy non drying texture of this one, and how it fades evenly on the lips.
Plum Passion: Very pigmented plum purple with fine silver shimmer. Full coverage in 1 layer. Non drying and feels quite comfortable on the lips. Impressive wear time and for a dark lipstick, I’m very impressed by how evenly and attractively it wears off even if you’re eating/drinking. I’m not a fan of the silver shimmer, but that tends to fade away after the first hour.
Color Riche Made For Me Naturals
Nude: semi sheer medium pale nude with subtle silvery microshimmer and a slight glossy sheen. One of my favourites from this collection- it is quite a sophisticated neutral ‘runway’ nude and one of the few pale nudes that don’t look tacky on me.
Rose Tendre: frosty pale pink semi-sheer. Personally I dislike frosty lipsticks with a passion- so this is my least favourite out of the bunch.
Velvet Rose: medium neutral petal pink with a subtle glossy finish. Very wearable neutral colour and lovely non drying texture.
Sensual Rose: petal pink with a subtle golden frostiness/microshimmer and medium pigmentation. I actually don’t mind the frostiness here, probably because it is a golden toned frost/shimmer and quite subtle. This colour reminds me a little bit of a sunset, and I can see myself wearing it in the summer/spring months.
