BECCA Ultimate Colour Gloss in Palm Breeze, Flamingo Crush, Malibu Punch, Autumn Punch Swatches and review

If you haven’t already noticed, I’m a big fan of the Becca Ultimate Colour Glosses. They have a gorgeous colour range, and have a feather light, non sticky texture that feels great on the lips all day. The standout shade for me out of the 7 shades I’ve tried is still Berry Twist– for it’s incredible pigmentation and wear time.

I was given the opportunity to review 4 colours from the Becca Ultimate Colour Gloss range- Malibu Punch, Flamingo Crush, Palm Breeze, and Autumn Punch. I’ve also purchased the shade ‘Hummingbird’ so keep and eye out for the upcoming review.

BECCA Ultimate Colour Gloss in Malibu Punch FOTD

Malibu Punch is a bright tangerine orange. It looks quite intense and pigmented on application, but becomes a little more muted and ‘natural’ looking after being on the lips for over 10mins. I love how it looks with neutral eye makeup and some bronzer.

BECCA Ultimate Colour Gloss Flamingo Crush

Flamingo Crush is a bright fuschia pink. It is similar to Malibu Punch in that it looks more intense on application and settles to a more ‘wearable’ (but still bright) colour once on the lips for awhile. To keep the intensity you might want to layer a lip tint like the Becca Beach Tint in Dragonfruit underneath. A beautiful statement lip to go along with neutral eye makeup.

BECCA Ultimate Colour Gloss in Palm Breeze FOTD

Palm Breeze is a sheer taupish pink. It’s a MLBB product that is quite versatile with most looks. Lasting power is not as good as the others though, and I find I need to reapply every 30mins or so

BECCA Ultimate Colour Gloss Autumn Punch

Autumn Punch is a sepia toned ‘mocha’ colour with good pigmentation (applies almost opaque). As you may know if you’ve been reading this blog for awhile, I’m crazy about taupish colours like this (too many Burberry ads, I say). Wear time is reasonably good, and I reapply every 2hrs or so- which is above average for a gloss on me.

 MOAR SWATCHES!

  2. […] I was expecting something along the lines of the OCC Lip Tars when I first saw the press release on the limited edition Lip Paints, but it is quite a different product. Rather than a opaque liquid lipstick, the Lip Paints are a non- sticky gloss stain with a cushiony jellyish texture that reminds me a little of the Becca Ultimate Colour Glosses. […]
