Kosmea launched their limited edition Summer Essentials collection earlier in November this year. It contains five of their best selling products selected to provide all round skincare: cleansing, hydrating, revitalising, and anti aging in travel friendly sizes.
The collection includes:
• Clarifying Facial Wash 20mL
• Hydrating Rosewater Mist 25mL
• Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil 10mL
• Radiance 24/7 Youth Boost 10mL
• Replenishing Moisture Cream 20mL
The Clarifying Facial Wash, Kosmea Rose Hip Oil, and Replenishing Moisture cream are amongst my favourite skin care products and have been reviewed previously on this blog. The only thing that I can fault about this set is the fact that I took about 4 days to polish off the little 20mL bottle of Replenishing Moisture Cream- whereas the bottles of oils will last several months each, which makes it a bit difficult logistically if you are using this as a travel pack. For travel, I think it would make more sense to only have one type of oil serum, and double the size of moisturiser.
All in all- a great selection of products, at a pretty awesome price.
Price: Valued at $74.75, RRP $29.95
Availability: Terry White Chemists, selected pharmacies, David Jones, and selected health food stores.
There are 3 Dermalogical Limited Edition Sets 2013- one for skin prone to dryness (The Skin Smoothing Cream Gift Set, $71) , one for oily skin (the Active Moist Gift Set $67.50), and one for prematurely aging skin (Super Rich Repair Gift Set, $110) .
My skin falls into the first category so that’s the one I trialled. The Skin Smoothing Cream Gift Set contains a travel size PreCleanse and Special Cleansing Gel, as well as a full sized Skin Smoothing Cream.
I’ve been wanting to try the Dermalogica PreCleanse for some time now, because I’m always on the look out for good oil based, non sulphate, cleansers. I quite like it- it’s light, smells pretty, and does a decent job of cleansing without stripping the skin. Although PreCleanse is meant to be used with the Special Cleansing Gel, my skin prefers to use it on it’s own since I prefer a sulphate free cleansing regime.
The skin smoothing cream is very rich and emollient- great for keeping flakey skin at bay, I’m especially fond of using this around my nose in cold weather.
RRP $71 incl. GST
