Purple is the colour du jour, with Pantone naming Radiant Orchid as the colour of the year 2014. I own surprisingly few purple toned makeup products, so I will need to ‘update’ my collection for this year.
Before this I hadn’t tried purple with a taupe/green duochrome before, and I’m rather pleased with how well Fig 1 goes well NARS Dogon. Definitely one to revisit.

1. Blend MAC Copperplate eyeshadow (second from the right on the top row, pictured below) all over the lids.
2. Apply MAC Fig. 1 eyeshadow (matte aubergine, top right on the palette pictured below) in the outer V and extending the colour out towards the temples.
3. Apply the light duochrome shade from NARS Dogon on the centre of the lids, as well as the inner third of the bottom lashline.
4. Line upper lashline and bottom waterline with Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink.
