Worship Wednesdays: Eniko Mihalik

When I saw the Eniko in this month’s RUSSH magazine, I was reminded of how smitten I was with the striking model from the Békéscsaba, Hungary.

Doe-eyed, and with the most amazing cheekbones, Eniko is certainly editorial gold, but there is something else about her that makes me instinctively like her.

Worship Wednesdays: Kirsten Dunst as Marie Antoinette

Hello hello!

I didn’t see the Sofia Coppola biopic about Marie Antoinette in the cinemas and it was only about a year ago that I borrowed it on DVD purely to perve on the set design, makeup, clothing, and hair in the film.

Kirsten Dunst had some amazing looks in the film.

Like this…

and this… (love the black lip against her platinum hair in the bathtub daydream sequence)
and this
Do you remember the Marie Antoinette fever around the time when the film was released, and Kirsten Dunst was in so many editorials and graced the cover of Vogue?
?Would totally recommend the film for a perve at clothing and makeup, even if it is a historically inaccurate and shallow film that trivializes the French Revolution. (my humble opinion only).

Worship Wednesdays: Pat McGrath, face painter extraordinaire

Pat McGrath is a superwoman.

She has been called the most influential makeup artist in the world (in a 2007 Vogue article), she is the global creative director of Proctor and Gamble (SK II, Dolce & Gabbana, Covergirl, and Max Factor), she creates the looks for quite a number of runway shows each season, and does the makeup for editorials in Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, and countless other magazines.

I’ve also heard that she’s exceptionally nice.

Pat McGrath with Natalia Vodianova (who I also adore):

Worship Wednesdays: Christina Hendricks

Hello lovelies!

Welcome to the first Worship Wednesday on My Funny Valentine. This week the object of much gushing is the devastatingly beautiful Christina Hendricks…

Christina Hendrick’s character in Mad Men (if you haven’t seen the show DO SO!) Joan Holloway is the embodiment of sexiness. She has this amazing way of carrying herself and a figure that I would give my right arm for.
…and a really cool necklace that she likes to wear where the drop pendant is shaped like a pen.

The makeup artist for the set gave her a look that embodies the era with dark winged liner and matte lips in various coral reds and pinks that accentuate her shapely lips.

On the red carpet she is always stunning. How gorgeous was her hair at the 2010 Emmys?
I also fell in love with her lip colour here and found out through a little bit of googling that the MUA used Lancome Design Matte Lipstick in Corset with La Laque Fever Lipshine in Cyber Coral on top.
And yes, I have ordered the Lancome lipstick in Corset from Macys through a mail forwarding agent (it is a US exclusive grrr)

…. as well as NARS pure matte lipstick in Bangkok which she wears at the Mad Men season 4 premiere

Are you a Christina Hendricks fan? What do you think of her on screen/red carpet looks?
